FREE: Supporting Someone Who is Grieving
Virtual Education
The loss of a loved one is one of life's most difficult experiences, and the journey through grief is different for everyone. Feelings of sadness, anger, guilt, loneliness, confusion, and even relief are all common responses to loss, yet many people find themselves wondering if what they are experiencing is "normal." Grief can affect every aspect of our lives, making it difficult to navigate daily responsibilities while coping with overwhelming emotions.
Join experienced grief counselors from Lightways for a compassionate and informative virtual presentation designed to help individuals better understand the grieving process and discover healthy ways to cope after the loss of a loved one. Participants will learn about the common emotional, physical, and behavioral reactions to grief, gain practical strategies for caring for themselves during this difficult time, and explore ways to find hope and healing while honoring the memory of those they have lost.
Whether your loss is recent or occurred years ago, this presentation offers valuable information, encouragement, and reassurance that you do not have to navigate grief alone. Family members, friends, caregivers, and anyone supporting someone through a loss are also encouraged to attend.
Light refreshments such as cookies and water will be provided. This event is open to all community members who wish to find comfort, creativity, and connection during the holiday season.
