Narcan® (Naloxone) is a medicine that blocks the effects of opioids and reverses a drug overdose.
The combination of training and having a Narcan® Nasal Spray Kit can save a life!
Kathleen Burke PhD, Substance Use Initiatives, Behavioral Health Division, Will County Health Department, will be the presenter for this class. Narcan® (Naloxone) is a medicine that blocks the effects of opioids and reverses a drug overdose. The combination of training and having a Narcan® Nasal Spray Kit can save a life!
With accidental fentanyl poisonings on the rise, Fentanyl is finding its way into many substances and unsuspectingly, more overdose deaths are occurring. This is all the more reason to take this training and have a Narcan® Nasal Spray Kit with you.
Dr. Burke will provide everyone in attendance with a Narcan® Nasal Spray Kit, upon completion of the training.
