FREE Vehicle Inspections Seniors (60+) Get Ready for Winter

The Village of New Lenox and its Safe Community Coalition invite local seniors to participate in Senior Vehicle Inspections on Thursday, November 20 and Friday, November 21, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Lincoln-Way Central High School, 1801 E. Lincoln Highway, New Lenox, IL 60451.

This community-focused event provides seniors with a convenient opportunity to ensure their vehicles are in good condition heading into the winter season. The inspections are designed to help older drivers stay safe, confident, and independent on the road by identifying any maintenance concerns before cold weather sets in.
Participants will have their vehicles reviewed by trained personnel, checking key areas such as fluid levels, tire condition, and overall safety features. The event aims to provide peace of mind to senior drivers and promote vehicle reliability throughout the winter months.
Prior registration is required! Appointment slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
